RIGGING

Rigging means manipulating vehicles or drones via virtual reality (VR) using a Rig Log cyberware. This includes sensing and feeling through these objects, virtually becoming part of the machine or processor through nerval connection.

To start the rigging process, you have to connect the computer system of a vehicle or drone to your integrated Rig Log. See operating drones. While operating drones or vehicles via rigging (VR), you can feel and sense the system, pinpointing malfunctions or using processors to maximum effect. You can be connected only to one drone or vehicle via VR.

LIFE CARE

Life Care is an international Corporation, headquartered in the USA. It was a pioneer in the medical service industry by offering unique medical insurances including armed ambulance services and tracking/monitoring bracelets.

Life Cares better contracts can include "High Threat Response" or HTR. Using armed and armored vehicles and adding security personnel to their paramedic teams, the HTR is able to go into dangerous areas that no other paramedic service dared to go. You get medical aid within ten minutes, or your on-site care is free. Life Care even owns its own private clinics which manage to maintain a high standard of quality.
Life Care offers three levels of service contracts, each with extending benefits for the amount of credits purchased. A tissue sample is required upon signing of a contract, and each client receives a wrist telephone that dials directly to Life Care. Higher level contracts also may add the equivalent of a biomonitor, which provides an auto-dial service in case of emergency.

• Basic Service gives the client pay-per-service access to Life Care services. It costs an annual fee of 500 Credits and fees for Life Care services can range from 500+ for HTR to 2.500 Credits for on-site resuscitation. Acute care coverage ranges from 50 Credits to 500 Credits per day, depending on the level of care. Note that these costs are significantly less than the average hospital stay and even basic transimplant surgery costs.
• Gold Service gives one free resuscitation per year, plus a 10 percent discount on clinic/hospital stays Base cost for HTR is halved, although death compensation, expenses, and other costs remain the same. Gold contracts cost 7.000 Credits per year.
• Platinum Service gives free HTR service, four free resuscitations per year, a half discount on clinic/hospital stays and death compensations are only for employees and innocent victims. Platinum service costs 15.000 Credits a 
  year.

There are varying levels of Life Care response:

• Standard Response Teams - SRTs are the standard patrol vehicles of Life Care. They follow a randomized path through the city, and have a team of four paramedics. Most are ambulances, but a small percentage use a modified helicopter. Standard Response Teams stabilize victims on-site, and if the going gets tough (too many victims, natural disasters, gang warfare, "hot zones"), they typically call for backup.
• High Threat Response - HTRs are the main public face of Life Care, and consist of three medical personnel and four "threat support personnel", who basically function as security guards. They protect the team and the client from hostile action during the pickup. HTRs are fewer in number than SRTs, but also patrol the city in a randomized pattern. HTRs use armored light Trucks with roof-top turreted machineguns loaded with gel-ammunition. HTRs also use helicopters, or drones to get to hard-to-reach areas and to airlift clients from dangerous areas.
• Crisis Response Teams - When HTRs encounter scenarios they require specialized support for, this often entails working in conjunction with CRTs. CRTs are trained to cover a specific type of large-scale medical emergency, such as chemical explosions, multi-vehicle pileups, gang wars, natural disasters, etc. CRTs consist of eight personnel and a larger vehicle (such as large vans or even a civilian Warmachine), and operate as two individual SRTs until called upon to deal with the specific threat they're specialized for. Some CRTs use tilt-rotor aircraft, such as a modified Federated Boeing Commuter.
• Support Operations Specialist - Occasionally an HTR team will encounter heavy resistance or extenuating circumstances when tasked with rescuing a high-profile client. This necessitates a more aggressive response or greater tactical flexibility. In these situations, a Support Operations Specialist, or SOS, team is dispatched to assist the HTR team. SOS teams are mission-specific and highly variable. They range in size from a single individual to small teams of four or five, sometimes more. An SOS team may include hackers, drone riggers, combat magicians, snipers, or specialized adepts.

You can use your Challenge ability with Ranged Weapons, but the extra damage is halved (at least +1)

Feats:

QUICK DRAW	BAB +1	You can draw one weapon each round as free action.
RICOCHET GRENADE	BAB +6, Grenade Mastery	2 Actions (Attack). You make a Ranged Attack with a grenade, targeting an intersection adjacent to a wall or large+ object. If you hit you can pick a direction. The grenade then travels 1W4+1 squares in that direction. If you miss the normal rules for  missing with thrown weapons are used.

GRENADE MASTERY

Proficiency

The Save DC of any grenade you use is increased by 1. Thrown Range is +10ft., Fired Range +20ft.

COOK GRENADE

Dexterity 13+, BAB +1

As 2 Actions (Attack), you can draw a Grenade and make a ranged attack with it. The Save DC is increased by 2. If you roll a natural 1, the grenade detonates in a random adjacent square of you.
